Premium Soft Gelatine Capsule Production Facility
Introduction
We manufacture soft gelatine capsules that provide enhanced bioavailability, precise dosing, and consumer-friendly formats for nutraceuticals, herbal extracts, and dietary supplements. For plant-based markets, our veg soft capsules are crafted using non-gelatine alternatives such as modified starches or HPMC, offering clean-label, allergen-free, and globally compliant solutions. We also specialize in enteric-coated formats, designed to resist stomach acid and release actives in the intestine, ensuring targeted delivery, stability, and efficacy for sensitive ingredients.

Types of Soft Gelatine Capsules
Standard Oral Softgels
- The most common type. Contains oils, extracts, or suspended powders.
Vegetarian Softgels
- Shell made from plant polymers like Starch or Carrageenan instead of animal-derived gelatine
Suspended & Paste Fills

Enteric-Coated Softgels
- An additional polymer coating applied to the shell to resist stomach acid and dissolve in the intestine.

Softgel Manufacturing Process
Sourcing Raw Material
- Sourcing premium, high-stability oils, gelatine, and active ingredients.
- Heavy Metal Testing (critical for oils and botanicals)
- Peroxide Value & TOTOX (for oil freshness and stability)
- Microbiological Testing
- Certificate of Analysis (COA) and MSDS verification.
In-Process Control
- Dispensing: Precise weighing of all shell and fill components.
- Gelatine is melted under vacuum with plasticizers and water to form a homogeneous
- Active ingredients are dissolved or meticulously suspended in the carrier oil.
- Using a rotary die process, two ribbons of gelatine are formed and the fill is injected, simultaneously sealing and cutting the soft gel.
- Weight, Content Uniformity, Shape & Thickness
- Soft gels are tumble-dried in controlled conditions to achieve the specified moisture level in the shell.
- Every parameter is logged in Equipment Logs and the Batch Manufacturing Record.
Cleaning & Packaging
- Softgels are optically inspected for defects, leaks, and imperfections.
- Washed in solventless solutions and polished to a brilliant shine.
- Automated counters fill the exact number of softgels per pack.
- Silica gel pouches are always used for moisture absorption.
- Blister Packaging is done on Alu-Alu machine
- Sealing: Induction sealing is critical for bottle packs to preserve the product.
- Label Reconciliation: A rigorous process ensuring no labelling errors occur.
