    In-Process Control & Manufacturing

    In-Process Control
    • Dispensing: Precise weighing of all components. Heat-sensitive actives are weighed separately.
    • Phase Preparation: The oil phase and water phase are heated separately to a defined temperature (e.g., 75-80°C) to melt ingredients and ensure a stable emulsion.
    • Emulsification: The phases are combined under controlled mixing. Homogenization is then used to create a stable, uniform emulsion with a fine, luxurious texture.
    • Cooling & Addition: The batch is cooled under mixing. Critical Step: Heat-sensitive actives, fragrances, and preservatives are added at the precise temperature to prevent degradation.
    • pH Adjustment: The pH is meticulously adjusted to be skin-friendly (often pH 5.0-7.0) and recorded.
    • Documentation: Every parameter is logged in Equipment Logs and the Batch Manufacturing Record.
